Red Balloons for Ryan

Today I'm taking a break from my normal photography posts. Because today will never be normal for one young mother again. This young mother will wake each morning with a bright new day until the crushing reality reminds her that this is just another day that she will have to live without her beautiful baby boy who was tragically killed in an accident over the weekend. Take it from someone who has been just as close to that tragedy as you can get. I've seen both my husband and my mom go through the heartbreak of losing a child. No words can describe that sort of painful loss. All we can do is pray...snd pull our loved ones close. Please read Ryan's story and pray for him and his parents. More Florabella

Ok I just love love love the new overlays and textures that I got from Florabella. They really enhance the look of my photographs. I took these photos a few weeks ago at dusk when we went to feed our horse. The lighting was already beautiful but the Florabella Beachglass overlay looks absolutely stunning on these! Cheers! ~Lora

Lensbaby

My daughter loaned me her Lensbaby to "try it before I buy it". I haven't had much time with it yet but I did take some cute dandelion photos and here they are: I edited and enhanced them using the Florabella texture bundle found here: www.florabellacollection.com I love love love these textures and overlays. Flashback Friday 4.25.14

Think man cave.....I've been doing a little thinking about photos for the "man cave" lately. I think this is an untapped market so I'm brainstorming. I was looking through my older photos and came across these. Notice how the details of this old car can make an interesting wall display: Think outside the box when decorating your home. Make it unique and fitting to your personality. I love anything vintage so this would work well in my home. And, it's something none of my friends have. Be unique, be awesome, be you. Happy Friday! Easter Bunny

I am putting my wedding invitation business on hiatus and trying to concentrate on photography for a while. However I did have a few orders remaining which created a need to visit my local paper store. I just love Paper Source! Not only do they have the best selection of paper and envelopes, they have a million little "things". I could poke around there for hours! On my last trip everything was decorated for Easter and the cutest little bunny jumped in my bag. I couldn't help but put him in front of the camera for a nursery inspired photo shoot. Enjoy. I had my camera with me when I went to the pet store a couple of days ago. I was just buying dog food when I noticed how beautiful the spring tress looked in the parking lot. I love that the blossoms are white with just a hint of pink. I'm thinking about doing my new home office mostly in white.....maybe I'll print these on canvas....hmmm Cheers! ~Lora
